Deal Research Methodology
A fair comparison starts with the same product. These are the details we look for when evaluating a listing.
Does the product match?
Model number, product identifier, capacity, quantity, generation and accessories all matter. Matching names or photos alone do not establish that two offers are equivalent.
Who is selling it, and in what condition?
We distinguish retailer-sold and marketplace offers, and separate new, open-box, refurbished and used items when that information is available.
How recent is the information?
Listings change. The retailer’s current page is the place to confirm price, stock, seller, delivery, warranty and returns before buying.
What cannot be guaranteed?
We cannot guarantee future availability, how long a promotion lasts or whether a retailer will honor a listing error. A featured product is not a promise that the offer will still be available when you visit.
